• Global CRS Platform: Working on WebConnect Plus, a Central Reservation System (CRS) and airline B2B portal platform supporting multiple international regions including GCC countries, UK, Kenya, Tanzania, and other markets. Responsible for managing, supporting, and implementing enhancements across 10 regional airline booking portals built on a shared CRS platform.
• RESTful API Architecture: Developed and maintained RESTful APIs using ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API for flight availability search, booking workflows, and airline provider integrations. Integrated multiple airline supplier systems using XML and JSON APIs and handled request/response transformations for different providers.
• Advanced Design Patterns: Worked on provider-based architecture using design patterns such as Facade, Factory, Adapter, and Strategy to support multiple airline providers and availability modes (Sync, SemiSync, Async). Implemented asynchronous programming using async/await and Task.WhenAll for parallel provider calls to drastically improve system performance.
• High-Performance Optimization: Implemented Redis/Aerospike caching using the cache-aside pattern with precise TTL controls to optimize flight availability search performance. Deployed structured logging with correlation IDs and standardized error handling for debugging and monitoring across all regional portals.
• Database Engineering: Worked extensively with MySQL including real-time schema updates, complex joins, stored procedures, indexing, deep query optimization, and atomic transactions for booking operations.
• Agile CI/CD Support: Handled level-3 production support, issue debugging, CI/CD enhancements, and deployment support for multiple regional portals while collaborating closely with frontend, QA, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira, Git, and Postman.
